River Mole part 2 – Leatherhead to Cobham

The exploration of the river Mole continued last Saturday with the next leg from Leatherhead to Cobham. Dan and Jenny, and Mark and Barnet were in C2’s and Phil, who decided to join at the last minute took one of the purple C1’s.

Arriving at Leatherhead there was a bit more water in the river than the previous week, a nice flow (1.5m on the water gauge) to get us over the shallow bits and make paddling in general fairly easy.

There were lots of trees, stinging nettles and a few nice weirs to shoot. Dan and I took lots of photos…….
