A hardy band of Hamptoneers took to the frozen waters of the Basingstoke canal last Saturday (16.01.2016) paddling from Mytchett to Ash Lock and back.
Just three Hamptoneers went on a last minute trip on the Basingstoke canal last Sunday to find some placid water!

8 Hamptoneers paddled the tranquil waters of the Basingstoke canal from the Barley Mow pub near Fleet to the end of the canal at the Greywell tunnel. Read Jill’s full trip report here with pictures now added
